HERITAGE SERIES: Japanese Artistry completely transforms NoMI Kitchen into an intimate and immersive omakase experience where art is no longer confined to the gallery walls.

Throughout the evening, select seafood featured on the menu is transformed into contemporary gyotaku art – a traditional Japanese printmaking technique dating back to the mid-1800s, originally used by fishermen to document their catches before photography.

Bringing together Dwight Hwang, NoMI's culinary team, and House of Suntory Brand Ambassador Davey Jones, the experience celebrates the craftsmanship behind Japanese art, cuisine, whisky, and vinyl.

The evening includes:

  • Japanese tea welcome reception
  • Six-course seasonal omakase
  • Choice of Beverage Pairing: House of Suntory Whisky Pairing featuring Yamazaki 12, Hibiki Harmony and 5 individual tasting pours of its component whiskies – unavailable to the public – followed by an exceptionally rare, limited release whisky reserved for the evening, or Non-Alcoholic Beverage Pairing highlighting seasonal Japanese flavors
  • Immersive transformation of NoMI Kitchen, with all 18 seats along the floor-to-ceiling windows
  • Live gyotaku demonstrations transforming select seafood featured throughout the evening into contemporary works of art
  • Hand-signed gyotaku print created exclusively for the event
  • Live vinyl DJ inspired by Japan's iconic listening bars

Available for two nights only. Only eighteen seats available per evening.
